The Greate Egg Harbour Township Historical Society will present “The Life of the Civil War Soldier 150 Years Ago on Oct. 5, 1863” from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 5 at the Museum and Research Library grounds at 6647 West Jersey Ave., Egg Harbor Township.

The encampment will feature re-enactors and storytellers as opposing soldiers camped near Bristoe Station, Va., foraging for supplies for their present needs and for the coming winter. Admission is free, but donations are gladly accepted.
