Community Gardeners sought

The Egg Harbor Township Community Garden at the Greate Egg Harbour Township Historical Society Museum seeks applicants for its vacant plots.

Garden plots are about 10 by 24 feet, and there will be one to two 5-by-24-foot raised beds that are wheelchair-accessible.

Memberships will be available to residents of Egg Harbor Township who are at least 21 years of age, as well as charitable and need-based groups.

The community garden is part of The Catawba Project, a student environmental service-learning project in the Egg Harbor Township School District.

Contact the Greate Egg Harbour Township Historical Society at GEHTHSMuseum@aol.com or call 609-813-2002 for information.
