I offer professional tennis instruction at the highest level.

I’m probably the most decorated junior tennis player from this area. I was the No. 1 ranked junior tennis player, that’s ages 14 to 18, in the tri-state area. I was ranked in the Top 10 in the country.

I played No. 1 singles for a Division I NCAA school, West Virginia University. The Star-Ledger newspaper voted me one of the best players ever from New Jersey in 1991.

And I’m the former tennis director of the Nassau Tennis Club in Princeton.

I’ve trained touring professionals on down to the likes of beginning tennis players.

Classes generally will be for six to no more than eight, while young beginners might have as many as 10 in a class.

The classes will promote high level tennis play as well as providing physical fitness training.

A one-hour class will range from $25 to $50 for group instruction depending on the length of time. Individual lessons will be $100 an hour.

Entry: I had early success, attaining a No. 1 area ranking and a national junior ranking by age 11. I traveled a lot to USTA tennis tournaments as a junior player.

I played locally for Holy Spirit High School, where I recorded the most single victories for the school and was a two-time state finalist.

I attended West Virginia University on a full tennis scholarship. I was Top 10 in all-time wins for the university.

Ten years ago I got into real estate and banking. I have a degree in pre-med and a bachelor’s degree and a master of business administration. That work, even though it’s full time, allows me the time to run the tennis academy as well.

This year’s Olympic tennis coach, Michael Sell, from Florida, just posted to my Facebook page that it’s great to have one of the best players from New Jersey start up a tennis academy.

The future: Down the line I’ll be starting junior tennis camps. I teach at the Ventnor tennis courts, and hopefully I’ll have multiple locations for the academy.
