A new shuttle bus service launching Oct. 1 will provide $1 fares to various locations in Egg Harbor Township and Northfield.

The route includes 16 stops — including the Atlantic City International Airport, AtlantiCare’s Health Park and Shore Mall — along Tilton Road, Delilah Road and English Creek Avenue.

Each one-way trip will cost $1 and will take about 90 minutes to complete the route. The shuttle will run fare-free for the month of October.

Buses may deviate from the route by three-quarters of a mile by requesting the deviation by 4 p.m. the day before travel at 609-289-1066cq.

The service was launched by a cooperative effort by Atlantic County, the Marlton-based nonprofit Cross County Connection, the Red Bank-based nonprofit Pascale-Sykes Foundation and the South Jersey Transportation Authority.
