An Egg Harbor Township man took his mother’s car Sunday night and returned with several bags of heroin, police said.
Police were called to a home in English Creek Mobile Manor at 11:59 p.m. when a woman said her son, Jason Sage, took her vehicle.
Police said they spotted Sage as he returned to the home and apprehended him as he got out of the car and tried to run away from officers.
Police said Sage had seven bags of heroin and drug paraphernalia. He was charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstruction and resisting arrest.
He was transported to Atlantic County jail on $50,000 cash bail.
