EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP — Three people were arrested and two charged with drug offenses early Saturday morning.

Police said they were investigating the reported distribution of heroin and executed a search warrant at a home in the 4000 block of English Creek Avenue, in the township's Bargaintown section. The search revealed 118 bags of heroin, numerous hypodermic needles and drug paraphernalia, police said.

Gary R. Oberman, Jr., 37, Melisa Ann Hand, 32, and Michael Clearkin, 24, all township residents, were taken to Atlantic County jail, police said.
