Two suspects were arrested on charges of stealing nearly $300 worth of merchandise at the Shore Mall Saturday.
Edgardo Matos, 36, of Egg Harbor City, and Tricia Wright, 27, of Hammonton, allegedly stole the items from Boscov’s and were leaving the parking lot when a store employee alerted security, police said in a release. The suspects were pulled over and arrested at Uibel Avenue on the Black Horse Pike, police said.
Matos was charged with shoplifting, eluding and numerous motor vehicle charges, police said. He was transported to Atlantic County jail on $25,000 cash bail.
Wright was charged with shoplifting and released pending a court date.
