Strong winds caused a partial collapse on the roof of the overhang in front of the Comfort Inn & Suites on the Black Horse Pike in the West Atlantic City section of Egg Harbor Township tonight.
Employee Josh Melton said no one was injured and the area is being secured in case there is more damage from tonight’s expected strong winds with gusts up to 60 mph.
Melton said he didn’t hear the debris fall but was alerted by a Chinese food deliverywoman.
