Atlantic Cape students inducted into honor society

Fifty-one Atlantic Cape Community College students were inducted into Sigma Kappa Delta, an English honor society for two-year colleges, on April 16. Local inductees were Alexis Corey, Erika Johns, Brandon Justis, Natalie Morse, Mario Ferrer Nunez, Trisha O’Malley, Juan Ovalles, Jessica Palasch, Johnny Agripino Polanco and Lisa Robinson, all of Egg Harbor Township.

Students from all majors are eligible. To qualify, students must earn a minimum of 12 credit hours, a 3.5 average in at least two college-level English courses, and a 3.5 overall grade-point average.

Koteva-Gorgiev wins scholarship

Olga Koteva-Gorgiev, of Egg Harbor Township, attending Atlantic Cape Community College, is among 17 students pursuing hospitality or culinary careers who was to be awarded a scholarship by the Atlantic City Hotel and Lodging Association Scholarship Foundation, during an event April 23 in Atlantic City.
