The Absegami High School Marching Braves will host their 31st annual Indian Summer Marching Band Competition at 1 p.m. Oct. 27 at the school.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and include a program. Eight bands are scheduled to compete, and the Marching Braves will present an exhibition.

The public is invited. Proceeds will benefit the 2012 USSBA Group IV New Jersey State Champions in their upcoming tour. Competing bands include Elkton High School (Elks), Pitman High School (Panthers), Mainland Regional High School (Mustangs), Brick Township High School (Marching Dragons), Lenape High School (Indians), Hammonton High school (Blue Devils), John F. Kennedy High School (Mustangs) and Shawnee High School (Renegades).
