A Galloway Township teen suffered minor head injuries when she was struck by a car Monday, police said.

Rimi Jahan, 18, was walking to school shortly before 7 a.m. when she crossed Wrangleboro Road near Collins Road, though not at the designated crosswalk, police said.

Jahan was struck by a car driven by Michael Haluska, 40, of Manahawkin, who was headed south on Wrangleboro, police said.

Jahan was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center for treatment, police said. Any complaints or charges are pending as the investigation is ongoing.
