Atlantic County Library System/Galloway Township at 306 E. Jimmie Leeds Road will be closed on Oct. 5 due to a planned power outage to allow for work on electric lines that serve the library and Galloway municipal complex. The previously announced date of Oct. 3 was changed by Atlantic City Electric due to heavy rain Oct. 2 and projected weather conditions.
Programs and activities scheduled at the Galloway branch Oct. 5 have been canceled. Residents are welcome to visit branches in Brigantine, Egg Harbor City, Egg Harbor Township, Hammonton, Longport, Mays Landing, Pleasantville, Somers Point and Ventnor, as well as the Buena Community Reading Center at Buena Regional High School.
