Go Green Galloway will hold its first Sustainable Landscape Certification Workshop from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Jan. 18. The workshop will cover the criteria for certification through this program, including how to survey your yard to identify existing native plants and invasive species plants, reducing your lawn size, discussing sustainable landscapes with neighbors and friends, initiatives for wildlife stewardship and initiatives for stormwater management on your property. The first 15 residents to be certified will receive their plaque free.

The workshop is free, and pre-registration is required. Email Barbara Fiedler at bfiedler@gtnj.org for preview materials to help determine the extent of your certification process.
