From 5 to 8 p.m. June 27, local residents and visitors can sample the best dishes that local food establishments have to offer.
The event will take place in Historic Smithville and will feature a “Get Involved Galloway” area for local nonprofits, clubs and churches to exhibit. Entertainment will be a showcase of local talent in the “Gami Got Talent” cabaret featuring Absegami High School students and alumni. This year, tickets can be purchased in advance in June at Colonial Inn in Historic Smithville and Galloway Nutrition in Sunrise Plaza across from AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s Mainland Campus. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased via cash or check.
Galloway businesses and community organizations that would like to participate are asked to see gallowaybusiness.com/taste-of-galloway for more information and a registration form, or email tog@GallowayBusiness.com. Absegami students or alumni who would like to participate in the talent portion are asked to email their name, phone number and act to firstname.lastname@example.org.
