Dowe named to Clemson president's list

Allie Dowe, of Galloway Township, whose major is nursing, has been named to the president's list at Clemson University for the fall 2013 semester.

To be named to the president's list, a student must achieve a 4.0 (all As) grade-point average.

Rando on dean's list at Delaware Valley College

Kristy Rando, of Galloway Township, has been named to Delaware Valley College's dean's list for the fall 2013 semester.

Students named to Rider University dean's list

Rider University's colleges of Business Administration, Continuing Studies, Liberal Arts, Education and Sciences, and Westminster College of the Arts have announced the names of undergraduate students who have been placed on the dean's list for the fall 2013 semester.

Area dean's list students included: Laura Garraty, a senior digital media, film, TV and radio major; Trevor Hiller, a senior marine sciences major; Salman Khalid, a freshman political science major; and Christopher Hansell, a sophomore musical theatre major, all of Galloway Township.

Piratzky on dean's list

The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina, has named Alexander Richard Piratzky, of Galloway Township, a history major, to the dean's list for fall semester of the 2013-14 academic year.

Dean's list recognition is given to those students registered for 12 or more semester hours whose grade point ratio is 3.2 or higher with no grade below a C for the previous semester's work.

Students on dean's list at University of Delaware

Local students have been named to the University, of Delaware's dean's list for the 2013 fall semester, including Sabrina Casares, Melissa Kelley and Angela Maggio, all of Galloway Township.

To meet eligibility requirements for the dean's list, a student must be enrolled full-time and earn a GPA, of 3.33 or above (on a 4.0 scale) for the semester.
