Moore on dean's list

Henry Moore, of Galloway Township, was named to the dean's list for the fall 2013 semester at the Berklee College of Music in Massachusetts.

To qualify, a full-time student must achieve a grade point average of 3.4 or above; a part-time student must achieve a grade point average of 3.6 or above.

Gougher on dean's list

Rebecca Gougher, of Galloway Township, was named to the dean's list for the fall 2013 semester at the Rutgers School of Nursing-Camden.

To qualify, a student must maintain a term average of 3.5 or better while carrying a full-time course load.

Sandoval earns academic award

Fairleigh Dickinson University's Educational Opportunity Fund program recently honored students for their academic achievements.

Deyanira Sandoval, of Galloway Township, earned the Academic Achievement Award. The award goes to students who have earned a 3.0 or higher semester grade point average while carrying least 12 credits.

The EOF is a university- and state-sponsored program created in 1969 to ensure meaningful access to higher education for economically and educationally disadvantaged students. The fund assists low-income New Jersey residents who are capable and motivated but lack adequate preparation for college study. See fdu.edu/eof.
