A Toms River man was charged with sexually assaulting a 17-year-old female during a party at a Hamilton Township apartment.
Police say the party took place on Nov. 17, at the Evergreen at Timber Glen apartment complex in Mays Landing. The female victim contacted police following the party, explaining that she had been assaulted.
Detectives investigated the incident for five days before making an arrest - Kyle Bernacki, 24, of Toms River. Bernacki was charged with sexual assault and lodged in the Atlantic County Jail.
Bail has been set at $75,000.
