The monthly Super Secret Supper Club is one way Groome is trying to bring in new customers or get his regular customers to try something new.
Chef Chris Groome, owner of Brownie Squared in Mays Landing, and Ram’s Head Inn chef Jason Holmstrom plated the third course during an eight-course tasting dinner Jan. 13 at the Ram’s Head in Galloway Township.
Blake Spence, of the Bargaintown section of Egg Harbor Township, and Charlotte Jensen, of Mays Landing, anticipated the eighth and final course, a dessert quartet, and as Alice Groome, also of Bargaintown, checked it out.
George and Jessica Crompton, of Mays Landing, sampled the fifth course of hazelnut and Swiss chard stuffed quail, maple glazed donut, with a sherry and foie gras emulation during an eight-course tasting dinner Jan. 13 at the Ram’s Head Inn in Galloway Township.
Jerry Lynn Gatto and her daughter, Amy, both of Mays Landing, dug into the the third course and lively conversation.
