A vehicle and bus were involved in an accident Thursday morning in Hamilton Township.

Police gave the following account of the collision:

The accident occurred 10:36 a.m. at Wrangleboro and Tilton roads. A vehicle driven by Malav P. Patel, 19, of Vineland, was traveling north on Wrangleboro Road when it collided with the bus driven by Donald Addis, 76, of Atlantic City. Addis was making a left turn onto Tilton. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage.

Patel was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Pomona for non-life threatening injuries, police said.

Traffic was diverted for two hours while police cleared the scene.
