A driver was injured Saturday morning after the vehicle he was driving struck a utility pole on Ocean Heights Avenue in Hamilton Township, police said.
Sgt. Joe Guerrier said the accident happened at about 7:15 a.m. about a quarter mile from the intersection of Somers Point-Mays Landing Road.
There was no damage to the pole and one lane was closed for about 30 minutes.
The driver, whose name has not been released, was transported to a hospital with unknown injuries.
No one else was in the vehicle.
Guerrier said charges were possible pending further investigation.
