One family was displaced from their Cologne Gardens apartment early this morning after a kitchen fire significantly damaged one unit.
Hamilton Township police said about 6 a.m., authorities responded to the Cologne Gardens Apartment Complex for a report of a structure fire, which originated in the kitchen.
All residents of the unit as well as those in adjacent units, were evacuated. Fire investigators said the cause does not appear to be suspicious.
The American Red Cross is assisting the family and no other residents were displaced. One adjacent unit suffered water damaged.
