Hamilton police charge teen with shooting homes with BB gun

Hamilton Township police have arrested a 17-year-old juvenile for allegedly damaging seven properties in Hamilton and Galloway with a BB gun.

The suspect has been charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and criminal mischief, police said in a release. The department said the investigation is ongoing and charges are pending against a second suspect, police said.

The incidents occurred between Dec. 5 and Dec. 12. Vehicles were shot with the BB gun causing several broken windows, police said.

Police said at least six victims in the Timber Glen and Hamilton Walk developments were affected causing at least $2,000 worth of damage. A seventh resident in Galloway has also been identified, police said.
