An Estell Manor man died Tuesday after an accident involving a car and two motorcycles in Hamilton Township, police said.
Clifford Rosegren, 60, was struck by a car being driven by Robert K. Fidler, 94, of Dorothy, on Route 50 at about 7 p.m., according to a release from the Hamilton Township police. Fidler was northbound, attempting to make a left turn into a VFW parking lot, when he struck Rosegren, who was travelling south, the release said. Rosegren’s motorcycle then struck the motorcycle of Jason Rosegren, 31, Hamilton Township, police said. Both drivers were thrown from their motorcycles upon impact.
Hamilton Rescue Squad, Dorothy EMS, and AtlantiCare paramedics assisted victims at the scene. Fidler was transferred to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Mainland Division, in Galloway Township, and treated for minor injuries. Clifford Rosegren and Jason Rosegren were transferred to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, city campus, in Atlantic City.
Clifford Rosegren was later pronounced dead at AtlantiCare. Charges were pending the outcome of the crash investigation, Hamilton police said in the release. The condition of Jason Rosegren was unavailable.
