Hamilton Township opens evacuation center for those living near flooding Great Egg Harbor River

Hamilton Township in Atlantic County has opened its senior center, on 13th Street and Route 50, to people who live near the flooding Great Egg Harbor River.

Residents in the area are encouraged to evacuate to there; officials said they can stay through the night.

Flooding from the river has closed Route 322 from Route 50 to Weymouth Road.
