Hamilton Township police investigating burglaries

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP - Police are investigating two incidents in which homeowners reported being burglarized.

Police said that on Saturday officers responded to two residences in which the homeowners awoke to discover that there houses had been burglarized.

In both cases, no one was injured and the homeowners were unaware of anyone being in their houses. The suspect or suspects entered through unlocked doors and removed electronics and cash.

Also in the same area of the Cologne section of the township someone entered two unlocked vehicles and removed items.

Residents are reminded to keep doors and windows locked. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Sgt. Gehring at 609-625-2700 ext. 570 or Detective Michael Robison at 609-625-2700 ext. 578.
