Hamilton Township police arrested an Atlantic City man for attempted burglary Thursday.
Police said they were called to a home at 5:17 p.m. for an attempted burglary on Lake Drive. When officers arrived, Gus Moamis, of Atlantic City, fled on foot, police said. He was found hiding in the bushes at a nearby residence, they said.
Moamis was charged with attempted burglary, criminal mischief, resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia and two outstanding warrants, police said.
He was transported to Atlantic County jail on $20,000 bail.
