Davies Holiday Concert upcoming

The William Davies Middle School Holiday Concert is scheduled for 7 p.m. Dec. 6 in the Hess Education Complex Auditorium at 700 Babcock Road. Students in sixth, seventh and eighth grade will perform such songs as “Santa at the Symphony,” “Up on the Housetop,” and “I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas.”

The concert is free, accessible and open to the public. Concertgoers wishing to help the school assist the Davies School National Junior Honor Society and the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Department can drop off new, unwrapped toys for its toy drive at the concert.

Historical Society lists events

The Township of Hamilton Historical Society will hold its annual Holiday Craft Show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, rain or shine inside the Fellowship Hall of the Presbyterian Church at 6001 Main St. in Mays Landing.

The first table or space is $30. Each additional table or space is $10.

No commercially manufactured or purchased products may be sold. For more information, call Ruth at 609-335-6782.

The society’s annual Holiday House Tour, featuring homes along Mays Landings’ Main Street, Hudson Street and Lenape Avenue, is scheduled for 5 to 8 p.m. Dec. 8.

Tickets are $10 and will be available, along with maps, starting at 4:45 p.m. Saturday at Boakes Funeral Home at 6050 Main St. For more information, call the Rev. John Ash at 609-625-2937.

Oakcrest Dance Boosters plan craft show

The Oakcrest High School Dance Booster Club will hold its Christmas Craft Show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, in the cafeteria at Oakcrest High School, 1824 Dennis Foreman Drive.
