Food drive set
The Community FoodBank of New Jersey is holding a Holiday Turkey and Food Drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 10 at stores including Acme in Mays Landing and ShopRite store in Somers Point and Egg Harbor Township. The Community FoodBank of New Jersey, Southern Branch, 6735 Black Horse Pike, Egg Harbor Township, also will be open at that time to accept holiday food donations.
Items requested include frozen turkeys (frozen only, no fresh), canned soups, stews, fruits, vegetables, pasta, rice, grains and other nonperishable foods. Items only in cans, no glass jars or bottles. For more information, call Colette Kraus, food sourcing coordinator at 609-383-8843, ext 116.
