Atlantic Cape to host health career session
Atlantic Cape Community College will hold a Health Career Planning Session to provide valuable tips for choosing a health career. The session is free and open to the public from 5:30 to 7 p.m. March 13, at Atlantic Cape’s Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike, in C-Building, Cafe B.
The session will provide information on opportunities for advanced technical training and degree programs in the health field. The session is designed for those thinking about pursuing a health career, as well as those considering changing careers, returning to school or those currently enrolled in prerequisite courses for an allied health degree.
The sessions will detail the educational requirements, clarify the training needed to enter or advance in health professions, review roles and responsibilities within various job titles and explore training options and alternate career routes. Shorter technical training certificates and entry-level positions will be explored as career advancement opportunities.
