An Atlantic County grand jury indicted a Mays Landing man on a charge of second-degree vehicular homicide Wednesday.
Michael McMunn Jr., 21, was driving on Leipzig Avenue in Hamilton Township on July 12 when his vehicle flipped over, according to a release from the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.
His passenger Richard Kisby, 21, of Estell Manor, was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene, the release said.
McMunn was issued summons for DUI, careless driving, reckless driving, failure to wear a seat belt and driving with an open container.
If convicted, McMunn faces five to 10 years in prison and as much as $150,000 in fines.
