Guzman, Hosford named to dean’s list
Melissa Guzman and Devon Hosford, both of Mays Landing, were named to the dean’s list at the Savannah College of Art and Design for the fall 2012 quarter.
Full-time undergraduate students who earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or above for the quarter receive the honor. The Savannah College of Art and Design is a private, nonprofit, accredited institution conferring bachelor’s and master’s degrees. See scad.edu.
Graumann wins scholarship
Joseph Graumann Jr., of Mays Landing, recently received one of 16 full scholarships for 2012-13 from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America Fund for Leaders. He is a student at the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg.
Now in its 12th year, the ELCA Fund for Leaders has provided more than $8.25 million in scholarships for qualified candidates studying at ELCA seminaries.
