Fottrell on dean’s list at FDU Florham

Courtney Fottrell, of Egg Harbor Township, qualified for the dean’s list for the spring 2013 semester at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s College at Florham in Madison.

To qualify, a student must carry a 3.2 or better grade-point average out of a possible 4.0 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours (four courses).

Dylan Bauer, of Mays Landing, Frankie Hall-Watson, of Mays Landing; David Paloff, of Mays Landing, and Nicholas Raben, of Mays Landing, qualified for the honors list; Alexis O’Connell, of Egg Harbor Township, qualified for the dean’s list for the spring 2013 semester at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Metropolitan Campus in Teaneck.

Alexander attends summer college

Shenelle Alexander, of Egg Harbor Township, was among 47 high school students who successfully completed a three-credit medicine, chemistry and mathematics summer pre-college program at Caldwell College.

Students on dean’s list at U. of Sciences

The following local residents have been named to the spring 2013 dean’s list at University of the Sciences: Amanda Bard, of Egg Harbor Township, a doctor of pharmacy student; Hope Shen, of Egg Harbor Township, a doctor of pharmacy student; Adam Kissinger, of Egg Harbor Township, a doctor of pharmacy student; Shreya Joshi, of Egg Harbor Township, a doctor of pharmacy student; Kim Peng, of Egg Harbor Township, a doctor of pharmacy student; and Samuel Pak, of Mays Landing, a doctor of pharmacy student.

Selection for this award is based on completing and passing all assigned courses with no grade below a “C” and attaining an academic average of at least 3.4 for courses in the spring.

Rider University’s colleges of Business Administration, Continuing Studies, Liberal Arts, Education and Sciences, and Westminster College of the Arts have announced the names of undergraduate students who have been placed on the dean’s list for the spring 2013 semester.

Lobo named to

dean’s list at Jefferson

Abelardo Lobo, a nursing FACT student from Mays Landing, was named to the dean’s list of Thomas Jefferson University for the spring 2013 semester.

At the end of each academic term, recognition on the dean’s list for Distinguished Academic Achievement is awarded to students enrolled in undergraduate programs, with no fewer than 12 credit hours per semester, who achieved a minimum grade-point average of at least 3.5 for the term.
