Students recognized at FDU Metro

Dylan Bauer, of Mays Landing, Frankie Hall-Watson, of Mays Landing; David Paloff, of Mays Landing, and Nicholas Raben, of Mays Landing, qualified for the honors list for the spring 2013 semester at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Metropolitan Campus in Teaneck.

To qualify for the honors list, a student must carry a 3.5 or better grade-point average out of a possible 4.0 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours (four courses).

Pak on dean’s list at U. of Sciences

Samuel Pak, of Mays Landing, a doctor of pharmacy student, has been named to the spring 2013 dean’s list at University of the Sciences.

Selection for this award is based on completing and passing all assigned courses with no grade below a “C” and attaining an academic average of at least 3.4 for courses in the spring.

Students on dean’s list at Rider University

Rider University’s colleges of Business Administration, Continuing Studies, Liberal Arts, Education and Sciences, and Westminster College of the Arts have announced the names of undergraduate students who have been placed on the dean’s list for the spring 2013 semester.

Dean’s list students included Marc Nanfara, of Mays Landing, a sophomore finance major; William Tanguay, of Mays Landing, a sophomore accounting major; Justin Veltri, of Mays Landing, a sophomore accounting major; Jennifer Johnston, of Mays Landing, a sophomore English major; and Christina Hartzell, of Mays Landing, a junior music theater major.

Lobo named to dean’s list at Jefferson

Abelardo Lobo, a nursing FACT student from Mays Landing, was named to the dean’s list of Thomas Jefferson University for the spring 2013 semester.

At the end of each academic term, recognition on the dean’s list for Distinguished Academic Achievement is awarded to students enrolled in undergraduate programs, with no fewer than 12 credit hours per semester, who achieved a minimum grade-point average of at least 3.5 for the term.
