EGG HARBOR CITY — Global Technology Solutions Holdings Inc., based in Egg Harbor City, filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection this month.
The telecommunications and security company, doing business as Jan Industrial Electronic Co. and B&C Communications Inc., listed its New Jersey address as New Orleans Avenue in Egg Harbor City.
The company reported more than 200 creditors to whom it owes $5.4 million, including debts of $763,000 to the U.S. Internal Revenue Service and more than $92,000 to the New Jersey Division of Taxation in liability and wages and trust fund taxes.
CEO Richard Schubiger, of Lexington, S.C., could not be reached for comment.
Creditors included dozens of individuals living all across the country.
