HAMMONTON - Police are asking the public's help in finding the driver responsible for a hit and run that happened after 8 p.m. on April 22.

So far the department has not been able to find the driver who hit a Hispanic male along White Horse Pike across from Napa Auto Parts and then fled the scene.

The car continued east along Route 30 and police are asking people to keep an eye out for cars with passenger side hood, front and roof damage.

Police have also not been able to identify the victim, who sustained injuries to his head and legs.

The only information police have is that his first name is Manuel.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Cpt. John Panarello of the department's Traffic Safety Unit.
