Fall business mixer set

The Greater Egg Harbor City Chamber of Commerce has announced it will host its first Fall Business Mixer at Joseph’s Restaurant, 72 N. Bremen Ave., at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 19. The social gathering is open to chamber members, non-member businesses and the public.

“This is an opportunity for business owners to network their products and services to other businesses on a one-to-one basis, and for the general public to get to know their local merchants,” chamber President Jim Schroeder said in a release. Tickets are $15 for members, $20 for non-members, cash bar. Buffet includes salad, chicken parmigiana, pasta, meatballs and hot drinks. Reservations are required. Tickets at greatereggchamber.com. Miss Latino Pageant set

The Latino Club of Egg Harbor City will host a Miss Latino Pageant at 6 p.m. Sept. 14 at the Spragg School, 610 Buffalo Ave., Egg Harbor City. Divisions for the pageant are Teenie Miss (kindergarten to second grade), Little Miss (third to fifth grade), Junior Miss (sixth to eighth grade) and Miss (ninth to 12th grade). There will be crowns for the girls and they will read essays they have written. Girls should be residents of Atlantic County and of Latino descent.
