Egg Harbor City
Cleanup Day slated for May 4
Egg Harbor City is planning its sixth annual Citywide Cleanup Day from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 4, rain or shine. Residents, church groups, organizations, clubs, and businesses are being asked to participate by cleaning up littered city streets, roads, avenues, terraces and creeks throughout the city.

Every volunteer will receive an ACUA T-shirt and any churches, schools, civic groups, sports teams, sports organizations and Boy, Girl or Cub Scouts will be entered into a drawing to win one of four cash awards of $250 on the day of the event. Just return grabbers to the Lake Pavilion at 11 a.m. to receive an entry form. In addition, community service form will be available to all participants.
Following the cleanup, all volunteers are invited to the pavilion at City Lake Park at 11 a.m. for a free barbecue provided by the ACUA. The drawing will be after the picnic at about noon.
