Residents, church groups, organizations, clubs and businesses are invited to participate by cleaning up litter around the city. Following the cleanup, all volunteers are invited to the pavilion at City Lake Park at 11 a.m. for a free barbecue provided by the Atlantic County Utilities Authority.

The ACUA will provide volunteers with trash and recycle bags, gloves and litter grabbers at the Egg Harbor City Firehouse on Philadelphia Avenue at 8 a.m. Every volunteer will receive a free ACUA T-shirt and any churches, schools, civic groups, sports teams, sports organizations and scouts who participate will be entered in a drawing to win one of four $250 cash prizes.
