Residence engulfed in flames in Hammonton
An early morning fire destroyed a home in Hammonton, leaving it uninhabitable.
Emergency response officials received a call at 7:36 a.m. regarding a residential structure fire, police said.
The house was engulfed in flames, in the 800 block of 7th Street, when firefighters arrived. It took about an hour to put out the fire.
No injuries have been reported and the cause of the fire is still under investigation. One individual has been displaced as a result, police said.
