Area schoolchildren were to see their artwork professionally published in holiday cards sent by Atlantic City-based law firm Cooper Levenson.

The children won the firm’s holiday art contest, designed to engage students in the arts and help raise awareness of the firm’s chosen charity, the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program, which is highlighted on the cards. Winners receive a $50 gift card and a cupcake party for their classes where the cards will be shown. The students’ teachers also receive a $100 gift card to use for class supplies or a party. In addition, both students and teachers will be honored at upcoming Board of Education meetings. The winners included:

Aiko Gunnarson, fourth grade, Chelsea Heights School, Atlantic City

Durron Elmore, eighth grade, William Davies Middle School, Mays Landing

Lesly Cruz, eighth grade, Egg Harbor City Community School, Egg Harbor City

Logan Williamson, fourth grade, H. Ashton Marsh Elementary School, Absecon
