WILDWOOD — As Wildwood prepares for Wednesday’s Kenny Chesney concert, American Express Unstaged has provided answers to the most frequently asked questions of concertgoers.

The details: The Kenny Chesney Concert on the Beach is a live concert sponsored by American Express and will be broadcast free on YouTube and VEVO Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. at www.youtube.com/KennyChesneyVEVO

The venue: The concert is being held on the beach at Schellenger Avenue in Wildwood on Wednesday starting at 8:30 p.m. The gates will open at 7 p.m.

Tickets: The concert is free, but requires a ticket, and all the tickets have been distributed. No tickets will be available at the gate. American Express Unstaged asks fans that do not have a ticket not come to the venue as they will not be able to see the show.

The concert is a rain or shine event.

Food: There will be food, beer and beverages for sale within the concert site.

What not to bring: Strollers, coolers, backpacks, beach chairs and blankets are not allowed. Smoking is not permitted.

Memories: Cameras are allowed, but no professional cameras will be allowed within the concert grounds. No filming or recording is permitted without written permission from an official from the Kenny Chesney organization or American Express. Anyone caught filming or recording will be immediately ejected from the concert site and content captured will be confiscated.

Amenities: There will be portable toilets available within the concert site.

Safety: There will be Wildwood police on duty as well as dozens of private security guards.

Where to park/traffic: There are a number of parking lots that charge a fee to park on Ocean Avenue, Atlantic Avenue and Surf Avenue in Wildwood and North Wildwood. There is also metered street parking throughout the island. It is suggested that you arrive early to ensure you get a parking space. There will be trolley service throughout the island from 3 p.m. to midnight running on Atlantic and Ocean Avenues from Richmond Avenue in Wildwood Crest to the concert site and on JFK Beach Drive and Ocean Avenue from Second Avenue and Central Avenue in North Wildwood to the concert site.

What to do in an emergency: There will be EMTs onsite, along with Wildwood police and security throughout the concert area.

Handicapped access: The beach is handicapped accessible at Schellenger Avenue and the Boardwalk. However, it is difficult to maneuver across the sand to the concert area in a wheelchair.

Public transportation: Five Mile Trolley service runs the length of the island from 3 p.m. to midnight and charges a fee of $3 for a one-way ticket. Trolleys will run on Atlantic and Ocean avenues from Richmond Avenue in Wildwood Crest to the concert site and on JFK Beach Drive and Ocean Avenue from Second Avenue and Central Avenue in North Wildwood to the concert site. There is also the sightseer tram car that runs the entire length of the Boardwalk from 11 a.m. to midnight for a fee of $2.50 one-way.
