Cops and Coffee program set for July 26
The Middle Township Police Department will host the community relations program “Cops and Coffee” on July 26.
This program gives the public a chance to speak with local police officers in a casual setting, and exchange ideas and concerns over a cup of coffee. This month’s program will take place from 8 to 10 a.m. July 26 at Victory Bakery on Route 9 in Cape May Court House.
For questions, call Sgt. Loftus at 609-463-1833.
Tax bills coming, can be paid online
Middle Township will issue its 2013-14 tax bills during the third week of July. These bills will reflect results of the recent township property reassessment and a tax levy that is lower than the levy from 2011. Property owners can pay their tax bills at middletownship.com.
The bills will include the next four quarters, with the 2013 third-quarter tax bill due by Aug. 1.
Property owners can return payment via mail or pay in person at the Tax Collector’s Office inside the Middle Township municipal building, or visit middletownship.com to pay online. Included in the tax bills will be information about the upcoming township energy aggregation program and an illustration of how tax bills are divided among municipal, school, county and fire district rates.
