Trick-or-treat hours announced
Official trick-or-treat for Cape May will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 31.
Halloween events are sponsored by the city of Cape May, the Chamber of Commerce of Greater Cape May, the Washington Street Business Management Association, the Cape May Kiwanis Club and the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts and Humanities.

The Cape May-Lewes Ferry will host its first-ever Halloween Trick or Treat Cruise on Saturday, Oct. 27, and Sunday, Oct. 28. The three-hour cruise will include trick-or-treating, ghost stories and a costume contest.
New Jersey foot passengers will depart from the Cape May Terminal at 11 a.m. and return at about 2:30 p.m.
Round-trip foot passage tickets cost $18 for guests 14 years of age and older; $9 for those between the ages of 6-13, and free for children ages 5 and younger. Due to limited capacity and expected popularity of the event, reservations are recommended. To reserve tickets call our Guest Services Department at 1-800-64 FERRY.
Halloween events set
The North Wildwood Recreation Center will host Trunk or Treat from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31 in the Municipal Parking Lot, Second and Old New Jersey avenues. There will be prizes for the best decorated vehicles. Vehicles must register. Pick up forms at the Recreation Center, Ninth and Central avenues, or call 609-522-2955 for more information.
The Greater Wildwood Elks will host their annual Halloween Haunted House from 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31 at the lodge, First and Old New Jersey avenues. Call 609-729-2170.
Trunk or Treat family event planned
The Wildwood Crest Recreation Department will hosts its annual Halloween season Trunk or Treat family event at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 30 at the Crest Pier.
Adults decorate their vehicles for Halloween and distribute candy to children in costume from the trunks of their vehicles. Prizes will be awarded to the best-decorated vehicles. The event includes food, DJ entertainment, magic show and more.
The event is free for adults and children, but decorated automobiles must be registered. Registration forms are available at the Crest Pier Recreation Center. Call 609-523-0202.
Crest Recreation pool party Oct. 27
The Wildwood Crest Recreation Department will host a pool party for boys and girls in fourth to eighth grades from 7 to 9 p.m. Oct. 27 at the Joseph Von Savage Memorial Pool, 8800 New Jersey Ave.
