Township offers $500 reward in investigation
The Middle Township Committee has authorized a $500 reward for information that leads to an arrest and successful prosecution in a bias-crime case, police said.
On March 5, township police responded to the township Public Works building at 400 Mechanic St. for a report of a bias incident. Two employees found a biased handwritten note in a work vehicle, police said, and the employees immediately reported the incident to a supervisor. Police have investigated, and are asking for the public's assistance.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Middle Township Major Crime unit at 609-465-8700, or leave an anonymous tip with Cape May County Crime Stoppers at 609-465-2800.
