Pearl Harbor Day commemoration set
At noon Dec. 7, North Wildwood VFW Post 5941 will conduct a Pearl Harbor Day commemoration ceremony to honor all those who served in World War II.
The ceremony is a brief, solemn event of prayer and patriotic song, held every year at St. Demetrios Church, 321 St. Demetrios Ave., and the Hereford Inlet Seawall. A memorial wreath is tossed into the water as Taps is played.
