Ryan named volunteer of year

The Board of Directors at Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum has named Rich Ryan, of North Cape May, as 2012 Volunteer of the Year.

Ryan retired after 30 years of service from the U.S. Air Force as an aircraft maintenance technician.

He has been volunteering at NASW since 2000. He can be found almost daily taking care of everything in the hangar.

Ryan holds numerous aircraft manufacturers’ certificates and is a licensed FAA airframe and power plant mechanic.
