Wildwood honors employees
The Wildwood Board of Commissioners honored several Public Safety and Public Works employees for their service during Hurricane Sandy and its aftermath. The honors took place at the Dec. 12 City Commission meeting.
Mayor Ernie Troiano Jr., Commissioner Pete Byron and Commissioner Anthony Leonetti recognized Police Chief Steven Long, Fire Chief Chris D’Amico, Emergency Management Coordinator Daniel Dunn, Fire Captain Dan Spiegel, Firefighter Ryan Troiano, Mary Peer, Missy Lauriello, Public Works Superintendent Mark D’Amico and the Public Works, Police and Fire Department employees.
The employees were recognized for their organization, dedication and the professional manner in which they served the city of Wildwood before, during and after Hurricane Sandy. Their leadership in serving the community also was acknowledged.
