Students achieve TCNJ dean’s list

Students who earned placement on the dean’s list at The College of New Jersey for the spring 2013 semester included Gordon Sayre, Julie Sangillo, Julie Newman, all of Cape May; Kasey Fox, David Hand, Daniela Powter, Emily Schenk, Andrew Garcia, Sarah Walsh, all of Cape May Court House; Gabrielle Roller, of Clermont; Emaleigh Kaithern, of West Cape May; and Stephen Tarnowski, of Wildwood.

To achieve this honor, a student must carry 12 or more credits that semester and have a 3.5 grade-point average or above.

Students graduate from Delaware

The University of Delaware’s 164th commencement was May 25, at Delaware Stadium. Graduating students included Nicholas Grace, of Cape May; Kara D’Angelo, of North Wildwood; Victoria Peterson, of Villas; Anna Reeves, of West Cape May; Jodie Gilliard, of Wildwood; Ashley Ridler, of Wildwood Crest.

Gray named to EKU dean’s list

Jennifer Lee Gray, of Wildwood Crest, is one of 2,749 Eastern Kentucky University students who earned dean’s list honors for the spring 2013 semester. Gray is a criminal justice major.

To achieve dean’s list honors, students attempting 14 or more credit hours must earn a 3.5 grade-point average out of a possible 4.0. Students attempting 13 credit hours must earn a 3.65 GPA, and students attempting 12 credit hours must earn a 3.75 GPA.

McCord on dean’s list at Berklee

Alyssa McCord, of Cape May Court House, has earned placement on the dean’s list for the spring semester of the 2013 academic year at the Berklee College of Music.

To be eligible for the dean’s list, a full-time student must achieve a grade-point average of 3.4 or above; a part-time student must achieve a grade point average of 3.6 or above.

Chestnut Hill lists student honors

Students named to the dean’s list at Chestnut Hill College for the spring 2013 semester included Erin Barnes, a senior elementary/middle level education major from Cape May; and Shannon Catts, a senior elementary education major from Wildwood.

Students are named to the dean’s list if they have achieved a GPA of 3.6 or higher, and are recognized at opening convocation held in the fall semester.

Weiser graduates from Albany

During its spring commencement weekend May 17-19, the University at Albany awarded nearly 3,100 degrees, including 2,250 undergraduate and 850 graduate degrees. Allison Weiser, of Wildwood Crest, graduated with a bachelor of arts degree.
