Stahler on dean’s list at Frostburg State
Kimberly Stahler, of Cape May Court House, has been named to the dean’s list at Frostburg (Md.) State University, for outstanding academic achievement for the fall 2012 semester.
To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must complete a minimum of 12 credit hours and earn a cumulative semester grade-point average of at least 3.4 on a 4.0 scale.
Gray named to EKU dean’s list
Jennifer Lee Gray, of Wildwood Crest is one of 2,901 Eastern Kentucky University students who earned dean’s list honors for the fall 2012 semester. Gray is a senior criminal justice major.
To achieve dean’s list honors at Eastern, students attempting 14 or more credit hours must earn a 3.5 grade-point average out of a possible 4.0. Students attempting 13 credit hours must earn a 3.65 GPA, and students attempting 12 credit hours must earn a 3.75 GPA.
Slocum on dean’s list at Tufts University
Tufts University recently announced that Elizabeth Fabian Slocum, of Stone Harbor, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2012 semester.
Dean’s list honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.
Grady on dean’s list at Wilkes University
Wilkes University announced its dean’s list for the fall 2012 semester, which includes Drew Grady, of Cape May Court House.
To be named to the dean’s list, students must obtain a minimum 3.4 GPA and carry at least 12 credits.
Tecco on JMU president’s list
Gabriella Tecco, of Wildwood Crest, an interdisciplinary liberal studies major, has been named to the James Madison University president’s list for the fall 2012 semester:
Students who receive president’s list honors must carry a semester course load of at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of 3.9 or above.
Jamison on dean’s list at James Madison
Thomas Jamison, of Clermont, has been named to the James Madison University dean’s list for the fall 2012 semester.
Students who receive dean’s list honors must carry a semester course load of at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of between 3.5 and 3.899.
Locals on honors list at FDU Metro
Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Metropolitan Campus has released the names of New Jersey students who qualified for the honors list for the fall 2012 semester.
To qualify for the honors list, a student must carry a 3.5 or better grade-point average out of a possible 4.0 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours(four courses). The following have qualified: Joseph Rozanski, of Town Bank, and Louis Rodia, of Wildwood.
Scholarships were recently presented to five graduates of the Class of 2012, Wildwood High School. The recipients and the colleges they are attending are as follows: Ana Nguyen, Rider University; Brendan Phillips, Cumberland Community College; Kyle Brown, Rowan University; Frank Difalco and Leanna Haggerty, both attending Atlantic Cape Community College.
Presented with the Herman and Irene Gulick math and language awards were Michael DeMayo, U.S. Army and Drexel University, and Brieann Gorski, University of South Florida. The Wildwood High School Alumni and Friends supports the continued success of Wildwood High School through scholarships and various alumni functions.
