Ventnor homeowners who need help with rebuilding from damage suffered during Hurricane Sandy can apply for labor assistance through a Habitat for Humanity of Atlantic County building project next month.

More than 150 volunteers from May 16 through May 18 will replace insulation, drywall, kitchen cabinets, doors, subfloor and shingles on single-story houses, along with painting and other services.

Homeowners pay for materials, either through insurance money or FEMA payouts. The organization also has a donor that will offset some materials cost.
